Tucows is daily "on air" but changes are not always up to date. Programs are decorated with cows(!) Several mirrorsite's in the "Benelux" countries.

C/Net (Computer Net) is a must for every computer enthusiast, with up to date news and the search engine "Search.Com". Has a comprehensive software-archive with categories such as:" Internet, Games, Tools, Multimedia and Kids. Is not updated every day, but the changes that are made are the latest versions. If you are not sure what you want, go and have a look at: " Weekly Picks". In "Profiles" you find interviews with the creators of software. This site also appeares if you choose www.freeware.com . Maybe a new site of C\Net ?

Ziff Davis publishes a great number of computer-magazines and also has one of the biggest shareware archives on the web. Ziff Davis also develops excellent freeware software that's only available here.

This site is without a doubt the most extensive site for windows 95 software. Windows95.com is the life's work of stephen J.Jenkins. The maintainance is not always as it should be, many hyperlinks lead to a dead end.
